Janna Taradash, LMHC

Something feels off. You sense it, even if you can't quite put your finger on it. An unresolved loss. A transition that affected you more than you expected. A pattern you keep falling into, with different people or situations, yet the same familiar ache at the core. You might be functioning well by all external standards and still feel as if something essential is missing, or as if you're running on fumes in a life that appears full from the outside.

Janna works with people navigating exactly that space. Her clients include corporate executives and healthcare professionals balancing the demands of peak careers and leadership responsibilities; professionals in high-stakes roles who have never had a place to be honest about the cost; early-career professionals finding their footing; college and graduate students; and adults in their mid-30s through 50s dealing with the particular complexities of midlife. She also works with parents and individuals from BIPOC, East Asian, South Asian, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant communities who seek care that genuinely understands their context, not just accommodates it.

Her journey into this work began with curiosity about human behavior, development, and the forces that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. That curiosity grew into a calling, fueled by a firm belief that no one should suffer alone or without support. She brings this perspective to every session: warm, straightforward, and genuinely interested in your unique story, not a version that fits a standard template.

Her therapeutic style is exploratory and often humorous, because real conversations rarely remain solemn throughout, and because humor, used well, can open what formality closes. She tailors her approach to each person, drawing on interpersonal psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapy, relational therapy, ACT, and DBT to address both the deeper patterns driving your struggles and the practical skills that help you navigate them daily. Care is trauma-informed and culturally responsive throughout.

The work emphasizes sustainable relief, not just feeling better in the moment, but developing the insight, emotional fluency, and self-awareness that endure when life gets tough again.
